Blade for Supreme

Born and raised in the Bronx, graffiti artist Blade started painting New York City subway trains in 1972 at the age of 15. By the early 1980's he had earned the title "King of Graffiti" because of the sheer volume of trains he had painted: over 5,000 in total.

Blade was unique in his approach to traditional graffiti letters and characters. He did not appropriate known imagery or adhere to any particular trend or style, but instead used his unique imagination; playing with perspective, abstraction, and geometry to create iconic pieces on the subways. Blade was a founding member of the famed graffiti crew The Crazy 5, and is one of the most influential Graffiti writers of all time.

This Fall, Supreme has worked with Blade on a Hooded Sweatshirt, Long Sleeve T-Shirt, Short Sleeve T-Shirt, Skateboard Deck and Pin. The Blade T-Shirts will be available along with five new graphic T-Shirts.

Available in-store NY, LA, London, Paris and online October 6th.

Available in Japan on October 8th.
